Stunning. Loved my base Cayman. Mine was a PDK but used 99% of the time in manual mode. Super fun car.

Where are these shots taken? Beautiful.

Wow! That's one beautiful car and amazing photograph. That house in the background is like something out of a novel. Where was this taken.

Thanks for all the compliments! Was just going to post text but then I heard myself saying "this thread is worthless without pics"

First shot was taken at a friend's house in Branford, CT. Lovely waterfront property -- definitely looks like it could be the set of a movie.

Just noticed this statistic in an article on the upcoming 992:

"Speaking of the seven-speed manual, the U.S. and U.K. have the biggest take rates, so it's not in danger of extinction. In sports cars, 5 to 15 percent is typical, but for Porsche, fully 34 percent of the Carrera GTSs sold in the States, 70 percent of GT3s, and 80 percent of Carrera Ts have manual transmissions."

I wonder if the MT take-rates for Boxsters/Caymans are similar. We do know the MT take-rate for 981 Spyder/GT4 owners was unusually high

Spent my summers in the next town over from Brandford as a kid. Beautiful area, and absolutely great looking Cayman.
