Default 987.2 Boxster S 3rd Gear Grind

I have a 2012 Boxster S Black Edition with 31k miles. I have noticed since I have had the car (since 25k miles) that shifting from 2nd to shirt has a persistent notchiness/subtle grind which is worse at higher rpm shifts and definitely worse if you are shifting quickly.

This was masked a bit by the OEM cables and shift ****, however now I have the Numeric Shifter / Cables which make any non smooth shifts very obvious. I swapped out the gear oil with new Mobilube PTX, and it didn't seem to make much of a difference unfortunately. The cables are adjusted at the transmission to have enough throw to hit each gate fine.

I'm looking for any ideas of ways to mitigate or treat this issue.

My current hope is that it's just air in the clutch line, and possibly that the clutch isnt disengaging completely. I did swap to a GT3 master cylinder and possibly my original clutch bleed wasn't good enough.

Worse case scenario seems to be that the synchros are going bad.

Anyone have any ideas of what else to look for?

If it is synchros going out, any idea the cost of getting those replaced?
