Default How many miles per year do you drive your Boxster/Cayman on average?

I was sorry of surprised to see what some owners consider "higher mileage" especially as it pertains to the Spyder. I'm curious to know how many miles each of you drive your cars. Note, I'm not talking about how many miles the car has on it overall as many of us bought our cars used...I'm just talking about how many miles you drive it.

I drive mine between 4,000-4,200 per year.

Averaging 12,000 miles a year here. '05 Boxster S.

Last two p-cars were driven daily well into 1XX,XXX miles during their time with me too. I buy 'em to use 'em. #lovingit

Current average is around 3,100 miles a year between May and November. Almost half of those are to, from, and around the race track. I do not consider this to be high mileage. I consider it extremely low. I feel bad for not driving it more often, but between road construction and mountain biking I have reasons to drive my Jeep more often.

I can understand the lower yearly mileage usage from the folks along the rust belt. If you know what that does to a vehicle you probably aren't rushing to the garage for a Sunday drive during the winter weather months. If you are in the less rust prone/harsh road chemical parts of the country however you have no real excuses.

I shoot for 5,000. I rotate 1-week Cayman, 1 week motorcycle, 1 week other motorcycle. However, every time I get in the Cayman, I don't want to stop driving it so my plan does not always work out.

21,600 miles per year based on my first 10 months of ownership. Zero regrets!

Only about 4000 miles per year.
I do have two cars and work from home, so that explains the very low mileage.
And we use my wife's SQ5 fairly often too.

5-10k/year depending on how many track events and how many weeks it's down for the count in between mods.

3,000 in the past year since acquisition, but I spent the summer in a wheelchair with a broken leg/ankle, so likely 4,000 a year. Looking at 5,000 per year, but I'm also still an area rep for a Z3/Z4 group so that takes some time away from the Cayman.

On my '14 CS I have 20K miles total in 4.5 years, including 9K miles on three long trips. 1.6K miles on track and 2.5K in going to/from the track. So that works out to 7K miles local in 4.5 years, but the car is garaged November to March.

My 2014 Base Cayman is my year-round daily driver...Approximately 10 K miles annually, all road miles. No track.

Unfortunately, at this point, my 987 is the 5th car in my garage and only gets about 1000 miles put on it per year. I really love the car but it just doesn't get enough use. Three of my cars are roadsters, and I don't drive to work, so there is only so much time my Boxster gets. Seems like during the summer I mostly use my SUV because it is easier to pile with "stuff". Winter and snow...well, the Boxster prefers to stay home.

So sad!
