CS 987.1 intake vacuum leaks
Hi all,
It's been a while, summer was great, on to sunny days of October!
I have a 2007 white CS with blue interior with (now) 32k miles on it
I have a couple of error codes (P2187 and P2189 - system too lean at idle bank 1 and 2) so I bought a smoke machine, and yes I have a couple of leaks
1. Looking at the engine from the back hatch under the left side of the intake manifolds - a small leak
2. In the back of the motor; there is a plastic vacuum line that runs from the right side to the left side in the front of the motor (behind the driver's seat (near firewall) - pretty large break in the plastic
Additional info:
2 summers ago, I put in the 82mm IPD Plenum and throttle body
last summer; I installed the cat-back (cat elimination) AWE tuning - exhaust
this summer; I replaced a couple of the pulleys and serpentine belt and interior air filter
this winter - fix the leak, replace coolant, and assess my brakes rotors and pads
I really want to solve this - is there any way to get a detailed vacuum diagram of the engine - actually any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
thanks in advance!
Steve

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Sounds easily fixable with right diagram. If you come across a digital copy, please post in case any of us need later on. Thanks and good luck!
