Default TPMS error?

2011 Cayman base. This came on tonight. Note there is no value displayed for the left rear. I guess this indicates a failed sensor on that wheel?

Certain scan tools will let you check the remaining battery life of the sensor. But a 2011 shouldn't be old enough to have the battery die.

Could be a failed sensor. Have you already tried the steps of getting the car to relearn the sensors?

It’s plenty old enough to die.

I initiated a reset, it did the learn procedure, and now its happy. It will go for 60K service sometime in the next several months, so I'll request a battery life test.

I read that most Porsche TPMS sensors have a life expectancy of 120 months, but it's true that any battery can die prematurely!

Glad it was an easy fix for the OP.
