Hi all,

Been following instructions to fit a GT4 Shifter into my GTS, and it looks fairly simple. I removed the two side trim panels, but the center console carbon fiber trim will not come off. When i lift the arm rest and try pulling the carbon trim up i hear a pop but its more like the metal frame coming up with the carbon peice and not the carbon coming away from the metal tunnel frame.

I've tried to pull it up but the whole frame is flexing the carbon trim is not coming off, i gave it a fair bit of force.

Any idea's as i really want to do this myself, but do not want to break anything.

Thanks but the carbon fibre center trim did not come off, so on mine i removed the torx bolts on each side and removed the whole center console in one go. Actually made it easier and not having to take the PCM out.
