Default filter debris

hi all I've just bought my first Boxster 987s
its a 2005 with 137k on the clock
as far as the service history goes the oil and filter have done 5000 miles in 10 months
I've changed them both and opened up the filter to find some small metallic debris and what looks like plastic bits
should I be very concerned or just concerned
many thanks peter

Cannot see the photos. Is any of the metal ferrous? Photos would be great.

Any work done recently? Are the black and orange particles hard or soft? Are the metallic particles ferrous (magnetic) or not?

I recall seeing another thread about this sort of thing before.

Could be a similar issue.

Looks like chain guide material to me. If it's ferrous, we need to dig deeper.
