Can a 718 Boxster Intake Grille be installed in a 981?

There was a post about this in this forum somewhere. A short answer to your question is NO. The 718 side grill is larger than that of the 981. It won't fit.

Wish it would. The 718 item sits slightly proud of the painted bodywork, thus protecting it from chips which the 981 is susceptible to along this edge.
sadly not even changing the whole sill / rocker panel will work as the join at the rear wheel arch area is a slightly different shape too.
would have thought we’d have seen aftermarket replicas for the 981 by now, 2 year on from launch of 718.
