Default Perforated leather seats

does anyone have suggestions for cleaning spots of unknown origin on the heated/cooled seats on my 12 Cayman. I tried damp cloth with warm water with no change. Don’t want to make it worse. Thanks

Assuming it’s leather I would give Leatherique Prestine Clean a try. Spray it on a microfiber and use medium pressure to wipe down the seat.

It is leather. I’m new to this so I hope I’m posting right. We’ve only had this for a couple of weeks and didn’t see the spot till it got in the sun right. I’ll get some of the Leatherique and give it a try.

You may want to try steam cleaning it. Make sure to cover the steamer head with a microfiber cloth.

Personally I'd use an APC (all purpose cleaner) diluted with water. Leatherique is an excellent choice as well.

That's one reason I hate ventilated seats. Very hard to clean the holes.

Porsche has a leather care kit.
Just add a small soft brush.
If the stain has seeped under the plastic coating on the leather then you may be out of luck.

I would try one of several leather cleaners then conditioners. I've had good luck with Lexol, Mothers and Leatherique. Each make a cleaner and a separate conditioner. That looks like it could just be water spots which has changed the color of the areas that got wet only and should even back out with a decent conditioner. Windows partially open in the rain recently?

Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my questions. Since we only got the car three weeks ago we didn’t know where the spots originated from. Went to a local detailing shop and he was very helpful and the seats only needed cleaning to get rid of the spots. Everything is back to great.

I bought a Houston flood Boxster and restored it. Water got on the seats. I used Leatherique cleaner and three coats of Leatherique rejuvenator and the driver seat restored. Passenger seat had cracked and split and it was replaced with another used seat which was pretty filthy and Leatherique cleaned it up to look almost new.
