Default 987 18" tire pressure

The manual says 30psi front, 31psi rear. But there are many sources that points out 30psi front and 36psi rear? What tire pressure do you guys use on the street for 18s?

I believe the higher rear pressure was for the 987.1. What model year is yours? I would follow the manual and the label on the door.

I have a 987.2. That explains why there's conflicting info... but why is it so high on the 987.1?
