Default CarPlay for 981
Is it possible to get CarPlay for 2016 Porsche Cayman GTS? It has PCM 3.1.
Also, can a backup camera be added?

I don't think carpaly is possible but depending on the SW version of the PCM 3.1 you can add a camera

The PCM 3.1 streams Bluetooth music via Spotify or Apple music great & I just added a Rennline phone mount so as to easily visualize the iPhone screen
Our BMW has Apple car play & I think it's highly over rated. It came on the 2017 car models.

I’ve been using Apple Music via Bluetooth, but am having issues with it making my entire library available. I’m working that out. I was interested in CarPlay because the word is that when the new phones come out in a few weeks, CarPlay will now support the Ways app, and other GPS apps that I use.

Where did you mount your phone? I would like to do that, but it seems there is no good spot for it, lol.
