Thanks to Phil for an AMAZING car and overall buying experience. I can't praise him enough! I am over the moon with this thing and am still pinching myself. It's my first Porsche (dad has a 987.2 boxster) and I could not be happier. Cant wait to get some miles on her.

Brian, the car looks great, and it traveled well all the way to Oregon from Pennsylvania! Enjoy it in good health, and, unlike me, actually DRIVE IT!!

Phil, you made the right call and I suspect you will have no seller's remorse. Do keep poking your head in around here and let us know what you end up getting.

Brian, that's an amazing first Porsche! Congrats and have fun!

I get it ... my 981 GTS gets less than 100 miles per month. Covered indoors, never been wet, never launched, don't even know if Sport Plus works. Those 100 miles each month are worth every penny, Sunday morning rides in the country with the top down and exhaust singing is good for the soul.

Good luck and have fun picking your next vehicle. Just replaced Tacoma daily driver with this Macan S. Drove everything from Ridgelines to AMGs when making the decision but the Macan won.

This will likely be my next car. I love having an SUV, and the Macan is just a great car. I don't feel any seller's remorse on the Boxster, as I virtually didn't use it. The new owner just loves it and is actually driving it!

BTW: For PA 981 owners: I surrendered my plate this past weekend. So, if anyone wants the plate "LAST 981," wait a couple of weeks and check with the PA DMV to see if it's available.

On a related note, I just was informed by the DMV that my personalized CA plate in vintage black with yellow writing came in and I'm not sure I want it anymore. Anyone have interest in it? It reads NA SPYDR

Makes perfect sense. That's the ONLY thing I HATE about owning one. smh

And that includes 14 track days and a first place in the Porsche Parade concours (981 class of 11 cars) in 2016 when the car had 6,500 miles on it (drove it from DFW to Jay Peak).

When I do a value check on Edmunds, my mileage is a $800 decrement. That $800 is worth every penny of fun I've had with the car
100% in agreement. You are loosing money anyway so why not enjoy the car. On the other hand, what is different in driving a Macan S or maybe a Mercedes everyday and they could very well be more expensive than a 981 Cayman. At the end of the day it is a car and meant to be driven and it is addictive. I think the OCD behavior -when it comes to a 911 or Cayman/Boxster- is more exaggerated when they are parked most of the time and as an OCD person I can certainly say your OCD is gone when you drive the car everyday.

I wish they'd mass produced this thing in quantities in excess of 100K. The fact that there are 800 in NA makes using it and using it often almost....a crime? Definitely the only real drawback to the car lol.

I have a feeling this wouldn't have been the case had I bought a GT4 but then I'd have a not as beautiful car.
Driving a car is never a crime. Drive, Rinse and Repeat.
