Default DME 1 programming? What is that?

Yet another thread asking for help with a DME report.
758 hours 1 programming
Range 1: 3244 at 741.9 hours
Range 2: 69 at 741.1 hours
Range 3: 1 at 36.7 hours
Range 4: 1 at 36.7 hours
Range 5: 1 At 36.7 hours
Range 6: 0

Ok, so as far as I know, one "programming" is where the original computer was replaced. I think this process is essentially reflashing the history onto the new computer. It's possible that the reflash caused the impossible range 4 and 5 numbers, but it's also possible that the computer was monkeyed with to cover up an oops. Since this is 2008, I would suspect those computers are easier to hack, but I have no basis for this. BTW, I know the car has track time, but it doesn't look like it was hammered like some others I've seen.

Thoughts, opinions, wild accusations?

Could also be a tune was loaded. That would normally set the flash counter.

I have read other threads that say "Programming" is the number of ECU flashes. A value of 1 could mean the first (factory) flash, and that a value of 2 could be from a TSB or from a tune of some sort. If that's correct, then a program value of 1 is normal. I have also seen other anomaly posts about impossible rev counts in the higher ranges that suggest this isn't an isolated case.
