Yet another thread asking for help with a DME report.

Range 1: 3244 at 741.9 hours
Range 2: 69 at 741.1 hours
Range 3: 1 at 36.7 hours
Range 4: 1 at 36.7 hours
Range 5: 1 At 36.7 hours
Range 6: 0

Ok, so as far as I know, one "programming" is where the original computer was replaced. I think this process is essentially reflashing the history onto the new computer. It's possible that the reflash caused the impossible range 4 and 5 numbers, but it's also possible that the computer was monkeyed with to cover up an oops. Since this is 2008, I would suspect those computers are easier to hack, but I have no basis for this. BTW, I know the car has track time, but it doesn't look like it was hammered like some others I've seen.

Thoughts, opinions, wild accusations?

Could also be a tune was loaded. That would normally set the flash counter.

Over which part of it? The speculation on what "programming" means, or the weird entry with single revs in multiple ranges? It's obviously not normal, but there may be a plausible explanation. I have read other threads that say "Programming" is the number of ECU flashes. A value of 1 could mean the first (factory) flash, and that a value of 2 could be from a TSB or from a tune of some sort. If that's correct, then a program value of 1 is normal. I have also seen other anomaly posts about impossible rev counts in the higher ranges that suggest this isn't an isolated case.
