Curious: Will 987.2 Exhaust Fit 987.1?
I'm curious about if the 987.2 exhaust will fit a 987.1 - this is for the 3.4
The reason I'm asking is because I'm considering putting the PSE Porsche Sport Exhaust on my 2006 Cayman S and when looking thru the Suncoast Porsche catalog, I notice that the 987.2 PSE is $2,595 and the 987.1 PSE is $3,395. The 981 PSE is $2,150
Also, I saw on eBay a 981 GT4 exhaust muffler that appears to not have the secondary cats. And I'm questioning if this exhaust will fit a 987.1 and if not, what's difference. (pic below)
Thanks...…..Vern

The PSE upgrade does make a nice improvement, but on the 987.1 you are correct about the secondary cats being in the system. You would likely find it's a better return on investment from a sound and performance standpoint to use an aftermarket replacement as there are many good systems out there on the market. Now if you were to combine the PSE with a set of Sport or Race Headers, that's a fantastic sounding combination and one of my favorites, but also much more of an investment to accomplish.
