Default Best Place to Source Oxygen Sensors

$300 per sensor from the dealer seems a little out of line. Any suggestions on where and what to expect price wise? How different is quality from manufacturer to manufacturer?

I have good experience with GetPorscheParts.com. They are listing OEM oxygen sensors for 2014 Cayman 2.7 for $163 each. No affiliation, just a happy customer.

Great, thanks. Anyone else have additional references, I am all ears.

PS: I wonder what the "real" difference is between a GM O2 sensor for $90 and a Porsche OEM sensor?

AZ Autohaus
Pelican Parts
RM European
EEuroparts
Porsche Atlanta Perimeter Parts - Parts website not the dealer
Sunset Porsche Parts - same here.

For an O2 sensor I wouldn't insist on Porsche. My guess is that Bosch or NKG make them for Porsche.

How do you know they need replacement?

They don't, but with 70k I don't feel like having one go bad 200 miles away at the track. In the same bucket as coil packs... do 'um and keep track of use. But I'll be damned to give the dealer $1200 for four sensors.

Fair point. I take 2 spare coils to every track.

This seems to be the best pricing I've found... https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/20...en_sensor.html

Anyone have thoughts on whether these after market units are reliable enough to trust? I don't know squat about oxygen sensors.

Ordered them off of Rock Auto after cross referencing the Porsche OEM part numbers... $397.35 to my door. A bit less than $1200 from the local dealer.
