Never realized until now; the subtle Spyder treatment does make the rear-end nice! :-) The red/dark lighting with white is classy!

Each difference is subtle, but together, they make a considerable difference. I think Porsche nailed the 981 rear end with the Spyder treatment.

Does the spoiler still deploy when you have one of those ducktail things? Do you manually disable it?

Yes, the spoiler still deploys at 75 mph and now I can see it from the driver's seat!

I did something similar with my CGTS and it looks much better. They should have come this way from the factory. Anyone thinking about this should definitely do it.

You guys with your huge houses and your spiffy garages. I wish. The cabbage in soCal just doesn't go very far.

I'd be willing to bet that single car garage is offset from a two car garage. A lot of the houses in my neighborhood are that way.

Mine are all in a row and one large open space. I prefer that as it gives me more room to work on the cars. But I get the appeal of the other too. Especially for folks that don't have more than two cars.

I love the look of the lettering on the bumper, and am considering it myself. But I'd prefer vinyl "PORSCHE" lettering (flat decals) to the raised lettering. Personally, a pet peeve is dirt/wax/crud buildup around/between the letters - I know it can be cleaned, and I do that now, but I'd rather not deal with it. Has anyone debadged their car of the raised lettering and replaced it with flat vinyl decals of the letters?

I've never seen a car with vinyl decals there instead of the raised letters but I can definitely relate to your pet peeve. The road dust somehow finds its way to around the letters and sticks there. It's royal PITA to clean it. Please post pics if you do that mod.

OP, thanks for the inspiration. Made the move as well. Happy with the outcome. The FVD sound coming out of the pipes makes it a visual and aural experience.

Very nice!! I especially like your wheel choice. They go very well with the body color. If our cars are parked next to each other, people will believe the badges and the spoiler are the factory option.
