To me, this is the PERFECT 911! Always wanted a GT3. But, have no use for a coupe. Just can't see myself driving a fixed-roof car. This Speedster is what I have been waiting for! Everything about it is perfect! I expect that except the two-tone paint scheme, pretty much everything in the design study would make to production. In the US, we will need rear-view camera; so, we will get that. Totally roofless GT is a driving nirvana! Imagine maxing the revs to 9k in open top! 982 Spyder, as a GT, will give us a taste of that, albeit at lowered revs. However, this car will have to meet new regs with Particulate Filter and lowered db. So, will it sound as good as the GT3? Time will tell. Hopefully, Porsche gets creative, while staying legit, and makes it sing as well as the GT3 and 981 Spyder. Now, I will have to figure out how can I afford one!!
