Default Boxsters, Caymans and Spyders for sale - Keep Updating...

Thought it might be interesting to start a thread where we can continually post 987's and 981's that we've found for sale. Saw this one on ebay today. Dealer says they'd take $95K for it.

There is a nifty tool on Rennlist that allows you to do this... https://rennlist.com/forums/vindecoder.php?vin

For the ebay car: https://rennlist.com/forums/vindecod...AB2A93CS720621, $82,100 plus destination charge...

Wow, so dealer is asking $10k over MSRP, seems unrealistic based upon other cars selling at or below MSRP (except PTS). Then again maybe the market is going back up?

I think you may have the wrong VIN # from the White Spyder listed on eBay. This is the build sheet I looked up and assuming th e dealer will take $95K they’re right at about MSRP.

Here’s the link I use:

The rennlist decoder is coming up with a different number than vinanalytics...

That is actually a very interesting one. The build sheet is attached at $81,700. Maybe I am just missing it, but the build sheet does not seem to show the carbon buckets on it, nor the wheels painted white? Wouldn't those two options add at least another $15K or am I way off on this?

The wheels painted exterior color are on there but not the buckets. But the buckets were under $5K and the wheels being painted shouldn't be more than $1500. Hmmm...

UPDATE: The seller just told me that the buckets were standard on a 2011 Spyder.

Wow, had no idea they were standard. I should have bought a 2011. Am I looking at the wrong mkt value on those seats btw? They seem to go for a lot more than $2500/each now.

Just pulled my build - I think I have the sticker somewhere but grabbed it online. I'm kind of sick to my stomach. I think I may have paid extra for sofa's.

Yes LWB’s were included at no cost on the 987 Spyders but less than half were actually specked with them.

Thinking about selling my black on black 2013 2.7 Boxster PDK. Overall the car is in excellent condition, inside and out.
Has service records, originally a US car. Currently imported into Canada. Second owner, clean Carproof. Car has 55,000 km. Car needs absolutely nothing at all, just to be enjoyed by a new owner. Not certain about selling but definitely leaning towards it.

If anyone is interested, PM me an offer.
