Default BBS FI-R's or OEM wheels

Bought a set of BBS FI-R's (late Fall last year) simply because I believe it is one of the best looking lightweight wheels out there. These are also in GT4 fitment and offsets. Fitment is perfect with no rubbing or issues at all. A bit more aggressive, (especially the rears) but that's what I was going after. Mounted on PS4's 245 fr/ 295 rr.

Got them in Silver finish because I feel you lose all detail of the wheel itself when finished in black.
Got around to installing drivers side with some MRG titanium studs in quest of losing weight wherever possible (No I do not track my cars).

Pulled the car out to get a better look leaving passengers side with OEM setup.
Quickly realized I wasn't sold on BBS side until I turned car around to shaded side to take a pic. When it was with the sun against them I wasn't sure. Oddly enough, I felt the same with the OEM wheels looking better on shaded side.
Weird....
Anyways .. thought I'd share and get thoughts from a well respected forum with true enthusiasts that obviously have great taste to begin with

If I decide to keep the BBS, I'll take pics showing how much nicer the stance is. Especially from rear where wheels sit more flush with fender.

*Note: should I decide to go back with OEM, if anyone would be interested in the set of BBS, let me know . They are literally brand new with zero miles driven .

Added text to first post. Would not allow me to delete post #2 in it's entirety.

Wish you would show the pictures in normal landscape format rather than strange diagonal. Regardless, I think the BBS wheels in black would have looked better overall rather than in silver. I would have voted for that in your survey but there was no option to do so.

The FI-R is one of the best looking wheels on the market for any price and they look vastly better than these OEM wheels. The only reason you wouldn't get them would be price... but since you already have them I cant see getting rid of them unless you needed the money.

The dutch angle is distracting, but as a fellow FI-R owner on my GT4, it is night and day different from the stock wheels. I store my stockies and would only go to them if absolutely necessary.

I agree. Great looking wheels but I’m also partial to black.

No question in my mind, BBS FI-R's all day long. And yes, I'd vote for silver instead of black.

Stockers. I just like the cleanliness of the spoke pattern on them better than the BBS. Stockers in Platinum would also look great IMHO.

I have a Carrera white 981 Spyder with the black OEM rims and i love them..I saw another white 981 Spyder at my local Porsche 70th yesterday but with the standard silver OEM rims..Despite being subjectively my personal taste i much preferred the black rims as it makes the Spyder look way more masculine and aggressive..If i fitted the BBS F1's it would be the black ones, especially on a light coloured car..
Do you by any chance know the exact weight savings..?

Car has been sold.
Wheels and tires are available and for sale as a full set which also includes TPMS.

They have less than 200 miles on them and are in perfect condition.
