Default 2011 Boxster Spyder

I understand that Porsche built about 891 Spyders for the North American market in 2011. And only 268 had manual trns. Can anyone tell how many 2011 Spyders had BOTH the manual trans and the Carbon Fiber Racing Seats?

Thank you, ekris

I'm sorry I can't help you. At one time there was a Spyder online spreadsheet being filled out but the originator left the forum.

In my experience, I've only seen 1 PDK / 9 Manuals so I'm a little suspect of your data.

Anyone know the whereabouts of the spreadsheet?

The figure as I remember it was a total of just over 700 for the US combined model years 20112 and 2012 of these only 142 were 2012 cars. As for breakdown by transmission type, no idea. What a unique and fun car either way and so few out there

I have the original 987 Registry spreadsheet saved. It is very incomplete information, but from the data that is entered, it shows 103 MT cars and 70 PDK cars. If that average represents the actual distribution, then there should be roughly 400 MT cars and 300 PDK cars. It could also just be that MT car owners were more excited about responding to the registry. lol
