Default Ultimate DIY 987.2 Spyder Inside Gopro Mount

Doing a DE day this weekend at COTA and wanted to use the Gopro along with Harry's. I was surprised to see there were no off-the-shelf mounts that put the camera somewhere behind the driver. For roughly $20 I put one together using zip ties and a couple simple parts. Easy on/easy off, no mess, bottom is padded so it won't hurt the rollover protection, adjustable angle...

Thought I'd share it here. Used this part:
Amazon Amazon

Will see how it does at the track!

I may have to give that a shot. I had tried mounting the camera on the lexan divider using a suction cup mount but the piece actually flutters in the wind at high speed. I gues I’m lucky it didn’t fly off!

Yes, the lexan definitely will move around. I have a feeling this will get some wobble at 130+ mph if I have the top off too... but I don't trust the lexan and have put it in permanent storage.

Zip ties fixes everything.

That, duct tape, and BFH, and you are all set to tackle just about anything!!!
