I think mine was $25. What I don't like are vanity plates that let you know someone is a lawyer, doc, or dentist. I just think that's a sign of insecurity. Sorry if any of you have that on your plate.

There is a code section in my State (and probably most States) that says it is illegal to drive too slowly, as to impede traffic. While that code section looks like a bunch of random numbers to the unsuspecting eye, those numbers are my license plate. I think that it is subtle but yet appropriate, and maybe it'll get a chuckle from other people in the legal or law enforcement profession.

I think MD plates in NY let you park in front of hospitals. Not vanity plates though.

love it ... copied it ... have a fresh idea for the Gen 1 Spyder for plates ... will have to check and see if I can get them, stay tuned. the second picture was a result of I wonder how these might fit ... the inserts in the 981 Spyder were actually made for the 987 Spyder but I figured I would try them out in the 981 the fit isn't bad ...

Anyone know of a website or other venue for selling desirable CA license plates? I own a few that I don't need but would be interested in finding out the value of. For example, I own NA SPYDER. Recently, I saw the plate "BMW" in Orange County and it got me thinking about the possibilities. The articles above only peaked my curiosity.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures here or on another forum of at least one other car in another state with the same plate, so I guess I'm not very original... I want to say VA or NC?
