I'm aware of the simple hack/bypass on the 987 exhaust, wich is to remove, slide or make a hole in the sleeve near the exhaust tips, that connect the top 2 tubes between the mufflers. It sounds good but heat and carbon particles goes where you don't want them to... so it's not an option for me.

I wonder if someone built exhaust tips that connect all 4 tubes, the unmuffled top 2 and the muffled lower ones?

Would it be a good idea?
