Default New to Rennlist and new to Porsche

Hello all from Illinois. Just took delivery of a 2018 Cayman GTS that was fresh off the truck Saturday. I looked at all kinds of cars the last six months to get something else in the garage to allow me to keep from putting too many miles on my GT350. Settled on the new GTS. I love it. Over two days, I put two hundred miles on it.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it. It'll be a tough decision on which car to drive when you get to the garage each morning.

Well -- after 6 months of considerations you picked the right car. Congrats!

Thanks guys. I'm having fun reading the manual and learning all the settings while its snowing out. probably wont get to get it out for awhile now. I was lucky we had fine weather over the weekend to take delivery and put a couple hundred miles on it.

Yeah... I don't know if you are in the Northeast, but I am and it is perhaps the largest downside if you're a car guy -- salt and cinder covered road in winter. However, I suppose it makes spring all the more gratifying.

Sweet ride! Would be a top choice if I ever parted with my 987.2 CS.

Replace those side markers!!
https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...1LEDSIDES.html

They are still yellow when lit, but don't look so hideous when they're not

Otherwise, nice car

Thanks for posting that. The dealer I bought the car from was going to replace them for free but had none in stock. They ordered a pair and they got them and shipped them to me. Should see them any day.
