Default 3 CPO Sypders at Porsche San Diego

For anyone interested, Porsche San Diego has three 981 Spyders on the lot. All California cars from what I can tell.

all over 100K too!
The rhodium/classic interior has 12,582 miles for $103K? Just a bit overpriced..

Photos are up of a couple of them. Both asking $5K over MSRP.

I don't think any of these cars are overpriced and if the 982 Spyder is turbo, well, whomever has the foresight to snap up one of these 981 cars will be looking quite astute!

Grab these 981 Spyders while you still can because when/if the 982 debuts under turbo power, which many here (who can apparently hear a dog whistle) proclaim is now a certainty, the 981, which has already left its mark as one of the great driver's Porsches, will go down as an instant classic.

When dealers are selling used cars for over MSRP I always wonder what they paid to acquire the cars from the previous owners. I get that the Spyder is a special car, but paying over MSRP for a car that was obviously a driver (and not a climate controlled collector car) always seems a bit strange.

That said, everyone is looking for the next 993TT.

Well, to be fair, I don't know that any are actually selling over MSRP. I'd like to see values up in that range since I own one, but I have a feeling these Spyders, CPO, are somewhere around 8-10% below that.

This. They also might be holding out until the 718 announcement. Pretty risk free there.... you see an instant demand increase if it's a 4 pot, but not a real decrease if it's something else. I'm sure dealers can carry these for a while.

If I knew the future, and the future was 4 pot -- I would go buy a PTS spyder right now with buckets and PCCB.

Reviving an old thread: the 22k mile car can be had for $10k under MSRP. That is a big price drop!

I bought the 1200 mile rhodium car they had. The white car is good. Some dealing there. It’s well soecd and very clean. Local owner and doesn’t show the miles at all.
