987.2 Horn problems
The lower horn tone will work for a number of weeks , then drop out and I’m left with the clown car higher tone only. Then at some point, it’s suddenly back for a number of weeks, only to drop out again.

Its a well know issue with these cars. You need to replace the low frequency horn. The part is inexpensive, but you need to take off the bumper to get to the spot to replace it. My advise would be to purchase the part online and find an indy shop to do the work for a reasonable price.
