This Gen 1 on eBay is very lightly optioned ... this is the same as the one in the PCA listing ... difference in price for sure

This is an AC delete car which limits the market for it and makes it difficult to resell. From what I have seen from my research over many years this car would bring as much as the mid 50's if it had AC. Still an excellent buy if one can do without AC.

Curious, what does a new top go for on a 987 Spyder if anyone knows offhand? I'm guessing due to its minimalism it's a pittance compared to a replacement roof on a 981 Spyder (which I hope I never to have to replace), but maybe not.

These cars are starting to climb more in price and the buckets and manual trans seem to be the most desirable. I know that's what I wanted when I was looking for mine.
The cars listed for $63,900 seem fair.
I know I have more than that in the car with 10k miles I bought recently. But that's also because I purchased buckets separately since it had heated sport seats. But now I have both options if I want to swap. My car was MSRP new at $71,470.
With the other extras I purchased (numeric shift cables and shifter, exhaust, 2nd set of wheels, etc.) I have about MSRP in it now.
But what sweet cars these are!

Typical Porsche pricing for the Spyder top unfortunately. The significant advantage that I see with the 987 spyder top is that I can install it myself.
