Default Poor factory support on parts

I called the US main office to ask what part number fits my car (I need a replacement front spoiler/splitter) and they told me they can't give that information and I need to go to a dealer. It's an out of warranty 981 so no need to go to a dealer for this work IMHO. Ugh!

I think it's either:
981-505-525-03-1EO
981-505-525-02-1EO

Thanks!

Give Suncoast parts a call, they've always been helpful to me. If you called PCNA Atlanta, not surprising they referred to local dealer.

That's exactly what I would have guessed would happen. Call one of the dealers that is known to provide good parts support, like Suncoast.

Dealers sell the parts, no need to have them perform the installation.

As noted, Suncoast is a good spot as is Pelican Parts. Pelican actually has diagrams so you can often see what you need without a phone call.

Good luck.

You think that's bad service..... walk into a tesla dealer / service center and ask to BUY parts for the car......at any price.

+1 on all the above. There are some dealers, like Suncoast, the really cater to the P-car do-it-yourself-er. Beyond this, it positively amazes me that I can ping a local dealer, on a Saturday morning, looking for a water temp sender (one of two different ones) on my 968, a car that was built in late 1991, and... "Yep, we got it, it's about $30, stop on by".

I hope they keep stocking parts forever.
