I have a steering wheel off a 718 and I need to get an airbag. Apparently it takes a long time to get an airbag at the moment from a dealer and I found one on ebay but it's off a macan. Does anyone know if this will work? It looks like the same and I think it will but I just want to be sure. I included a pic of the airbag.

I don't know but one idea might be to check the part numbers in the catalogs.

Hallo, I have the same problem and possible solution. Did you know if is true, if EVERY macaw airbags will fit on a 718 steering wheel, as I'va heard?

My understanding is that Macan airbags are all interchangeable with the 718 wheels and 991.2 wheels, but search on here to confirm that. Fairly sure that's right.

This isn't a definitive answer but here are the part numbers:
95B 880 201 M Macan 2014 - current
982 880 201 B 718 Cayman 2017 -

The letters just appear to represent the color and material of the cover but I would worry about the difference in the 2nd and 3rd digits.

BTW, you can check any/every part number by getting the part catalog for almost all Porsche models from Porsche's website here:
