Default The Official Boxster/Cayman Rim (Wheel) Showoff Thread!

I am officially in. Just got a 2006 Boxster S and loving it. However I don't like the wheels that are on the car. I would like some new wheels. Trying to get some ideas. Forgive me but I could not find a thread related to this. So I decided to start one up. If someone has already kicked this off before just send me link and I can take this down. So let's officially kick it off!!!!!!!!

Please post pic of your wheels. Thanks.....

These are the replicas. With Pilot Super sports

AA, big congrats on your 987!

I had the lobster forks on my Seal Grey '05 S and absolutely loved them:

Good luck with your search and let us know what wheel you ultimately choose.

^^^^^ The "lobster" was officially called the "19' Carerra S wheel" and was a $1,550 option on the '05 Boxster S. Not sure if it was an optional wheel on your 2006 model, but I suspect it was.

There are "lobster" wheels in 18 inch size with slightly smaller forks that were standard on a 987.1 Boxster S. I have them on my '07, they look great.

The wheels on the Spyder are the "Spyder" wheels, strangely enough, they came on that car and the Cayman R.
