Cayman R with 19 inch BBS-CHR and Yokohama ADO8R
My Cayman with BBS-CHRs and Yoko ADO8Rs. That's a basically a stock offset from BBS. No spacers. I use these as all around wheels and for track days. This set came from a German vendor with the engraved "Motorsport" on the wheel, the US version didn't have that. I've moved these between a 981 GTS and two 987s and its my favorite wheel for everyday.
What are the wheel and tire size? Including the offsets. I want to order those wheels.
Does anyone here have experience with Apex wheels? I'm eyeballing a set of thier SM-10 wheels for Autocross/HDPE. Would go with 18"x8.5 ET42 in front and 18"x10 ET36 in the rear.
For some reason, Tire Rack only carries the 20 inch version. My wheels are 4 years old, and as I said, I got them from a vendor with engravings which the US wheels don't have. I just looked around, and ECS doesn't carry these either for the Cayman. I don't know why that is, the offsets I got were within a couple millimeters of factory, and they used to be offered in 19s for our cars.
