Wonder if it can be rectified with some Sharkwerks stuff...

Sound aside, it looks pretty awesome to me. Super excited.

What do I love about the new Spyder, no matter what engine is going in? The 90k + base price.

i know... definitely the new rumored flat 2 cylinder with quad turbos... heard it was to save weight. 1 cylinder per exhaust. Heard it was the closest way to replicate the NA fart sound.

I am hoping we see the 918 electric technology trickle down into the Turbo S. Can Porsche drop the GT3 displacement down to a 3.0 flat six NA with electric motors and still retain the flat six sound?

If it's the same Motorsports dry sump motor, it could rev to 10,000 rpm by dropping 25% of its displacement. I'd say that would sound pretty amazing, if the particle filter isn't a total spoiler of fun (and sound).

That’s odd... it’s not a NA spec car... Euro version. (Has clear markets, euro rear bumper for wider plate and not sat nav antenna. Also weird they are camouflaging the roof to look like a standard Boxster... or maybe a bad pic?

Maybe a new top so you don't have to clip the ears in place (possibly making it easier to open the trunk)?
