Default Comfort Control Module

So I go to pick my 987.1S up from the shop, start it up, and immediately get this TCB lightning bolt error message. System failure, visit workshop. Apparently the front comfort control module that controls windows, lights, locks, etc. Has anyone replaced theirs? I gather that a dealer or shop w/ PIWIS has to do it because it has to be reprogrammed and even Durametric won't do it. Am I right? Anyone have a part no.? Don't you hate picking a car up and having problems it did not have when you took it in?
