81K is too high a mileage for me, but buying a Pcar from Mom & Pop doesn't do anything for me, either. I also don't care for non-S cars.

Suggest you rethink your strategy and go for an "S" for it options from a Pcar dealership. You have the whole country to shop in. And get an inspection.

Just test drove #2. The shifter felt like total crap. And I mean total crap. It was hard, shifts were imprecise and difficult to make. I mean I didn’t expect it to be like my Miata. I did however expect it to be close to my E 36 M3 with a short shift kit

I found the guy that traded in this came in for a Corvette and he had put upgraded cables. The original post is here :
