Regarding the camera ... I opted for the cleaner look as in having no bump between the humps or as some refer to it as the "wart" ... while it is not required for the camera to operate, if I am not mistaken in order to option the camera other options were required that introduced the bump between the humps ... if that is not accurate would someone please highlight / note that ...

-Satellite Radio requires "Wart" between "Humps"
PCM was only available via:
1. Infotainment Package with BOSE® Surround Sound System $3,990 (Includes Satellite Radio and Wart)
2. Infotainment Package with Burmester® High-End Surround Sound System $6,730 (Includes Satellite Radio and Wart)
3. BOSE® Surround Sound System $700 + Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl. Navigation Module $2,965 (No Satellite Radio = No Wart)
2. Infotainment Package with Burmester® High-End Surround Sound System $6,730 (Includes Satellite Radio and Wart)
3. BOSE® Surround Sound System $700 + Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl. Navigation Module $2,965 (No Satellite Radio = No Wart)
Most were not aware of #3, which eliminated the Satellite Radio. It is how I ordered my Spyder and I'm glad I am without the "Wart".

^^^^^ Yep, I stuck with base CDR with BOSE® Surround Sound System $700 to avoid the wart and probably drove my SA crazy confirming over and over and over (and finally in writing) that it was only satellite radio that resulted in the tumorous growth. A lot of the sales folks didn't really know.
Do you guys remember when the wart surfaced in pics here for the first time and we were all wondering, "What the hell is that and is there a cure?"
Over time, the wart has come to grow on me and although my aversion to it has mellowed, I'm still glad it's not on my deck lid. I'm sure satellite radio is great (I've never had it), but in this case it came at a cost, both financial and aesthetic.

Folks around here are saying there is a five percent premium on top of the selling price that goes to the auction site. If true, that is absolutely mind blowing to me that a website gets that kind dough for hosting a vehicle on its site. Are they offering something that I don’t see?

Looks like that dealer is asking $2k over sticker (w/destination) for that 5800 mile Spyder.
