Default Newbie - First Post new Cayman S owner

Hey everyone and Happy New Year!

Just got myself a new Porsche to ring in the new year.

I picked up a 718 Cayman S with the options listed below. I can't wait to learn more about the car and happy to be apart of the Porsche community.


030 - PASM Sport Suspension (20 Mm Lower)
220 - Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV)
250 - Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
342 - Seat Heating
433 - 20" Carrera S Wheels
541 - Seat Ventilation
573 - 2-zone Automatic Climate Control

What transmission did you get in it? PDK? Manual?

Beautiful car. I just bought my first Porsche a month ago. Worked at a Porsche dealer for 10 years back in the late 80's and early 90's and somehow never got myself one before now. I realize now what I have been missing. I've had M cars and AMG's and a few others but none have been the driving experience of my Spyder. Near perfection.

How do you like the ride and handling? I drove a 718 with the base suspension, and it was fantastic... curious if the PASM -20mm makes it harsh, and how good the calibration is on the electronic dampers.
