Default 981 Spyder - soft top protection - ideas?

I'm curious whether anyone has used a product similar to the one listed on ebay below that they like.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-Box...lZiexo&vxp=mtr

Seems like a great idea. I would rarely go through the hassle of using the full cover but this just might be the ticket.

Do think this will work with the spyder top? Looks like it's for regular Boxster tops. Would you have to remove the buttresses?

Whether you use that cover or not, you need to protect it from UV rays, bird poop, etc. with something like RaggTopp. That would also make the water bead, and avoid getting the material all wet. I recently did that to my brother's BGTS and looks like new now. And no more getting soaked after washing it or a rain shower.

+2 on elp's suggestion, I use the full cover, especially in the summer. GA sun will opaque your headlamps, torch the paint, lay waste to door and window gaskets and ruin the interior. It only takes a minute more to cover my entire car and it makes me feel better too.

What cover do you use? Anyone else have a specific outdoor cover they use and would recommend?

I use this on my BS:

Makes the beading almost as strong as the paint. Be careful with application and make off areas first though!
