Default 987.2 Emergency Frunk Release Cable

I Was detailing my Cayman R and I noticed a wire cable loop in between the upper part of the drivers side door and the body. Could this be an emergency frunk release cable. Seems kind of flimsy, I was afraid to pull in case I really need it someday......

Sounds like the manual release for the fuel filler door, but it should be on the passenger side. Strange.

Pull it. You know you want to.

Agree with Dave, it's not like a fire alarm is going to be set off and the po po are going to take you away.

Oops, it is on the passenger....So I think the filler door sounds right. Thanks for solving the mystery
