2016 981 Spyder - HELP - sorry for the repeat posts

Fixed it for ya!
VirgilKane: As you know and others have pointed out, it is difficult to judge which way 981's pricing would go with the speculations surrounding 982. However, you will get some ideas as we get through winter and more prototypes being spotted. We will know real soon if the engine is gonna be NA, which I am betting on. We will also know soon if it is going to be on parity with GT4, which I am betting as well. All these will happen well before official launch. I did a quick search on AutoTrader. The Spyders listed there seemed to have inflated pricing (based on very casual search). If the 982 Spyder turns out to be a killer product (which I fully expect it to be), not withstanding the price, 981's pricing will dip. If you don't have to have this car, wait. You will find more fine samples. Since you are a seasoned and shrewd buyer, you will come out a winner.

So I'm looking at this car:

Very clean, but has what appear to be aftermarket graphics (that I think look pretty good in person). What do you folks think about it given what you know?
Full disclosure... I'm waffling back and forth between the Sypder and a brand new F-Type R convertible at $30K off sticker ($110K Jag for $80K). Apples to oranges as far as the cars go, but both would be fantastic. I think I'd prefer a manual trans for what will be a weekend car. Will probably keep the car 2-3 years.

Do the spyder, CPO makes it a no brainer and that car is set up for weekend drives with the options it has. You won't be disappointed, as far as price start at 100k and see where it goes. Ive driven the Jag and they are nice I can't knock them but SELO is right it will be worth 50-55 in 3 years.

Here's where I'm struggling the most. And I appreciate you bearing with me. I've been around many, many forums in my years and there's always the guy like me asking questions that are mainly subjective but he's looking for objective answers. But hey, that's what public forums are for. You do not have to read this stuff or respond.
My next car will have to be slightly more to me than a weekend drive-up-the-coast car. It will have to do some daily duty. Is that even practical/advisable? I have an older, large SUV (4WD for the ski and lake seasons) as a spare car but I hate driving that thing every day in my daily routine. It's just too much. My C63 coupe did a pretty good job of doing double duty as a weekender and a daily and I ended up puting about 4-5K a year on it. The Spyder feels a lot more like a fair weather car than the Jag does. Does anyone here drive their Spyder 3-4 days a week and put 500-600 miles a week on it? Is that even practical/advisable?
I am also considering going for the Spyder and downsizing to a smaller SUV with 4WD capability but that just adds to the nut. I can afford it. But maybe I don't want to? Not sure.
What do you all think?

If you want a real sports car... get the Spyder. Great value, long term value, one of the best ever. If you want a practical, easy, country club cruiser that will plummet in value, but be easy to drive in commute traffic. Get the jag. Period end.just pick one.

Ah yes. Rear view camera is a must for me. Also like the rear tinted tail lights much better than the all red. Both of which my car has.... ;-)
