Baffled - 12 Spyder w PCM - no USB/Aux in?
Four months into owning my Spyder was on a longer road trip and figured I'd finally listen to some tunes. But how do I connect the iPhone?
There is a 12V connection in the center armrest, no Aux-in/no USB in arm rest or glovebox. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to plug in.
I've got PCM, clearly the manual shows it should be in the center armrest. I'm assuming this was something that just was dropped on the Spyder?
I've searched the forums and found one other person reporting this, but there was no final comment. Curious if I'm the only one or this is just the deal?

I have a 2011 and there is a USB connection in my center console/arm rest. The previous owner put in an aftermarket head unit though, so not sure if the USB was added then as well.

I have the base radio and the AUX was no cost option but you had to check the box, it wasn’t standard.
Have you looked closely in the center console, the aux connection would be closed to the hand brake.

Well that is where the 12V is, no USB/Aux-in. Not good.
May have to look at using Tranzit Blu, although not sure how that will mess with the actual phone capabilities. Installed one in my Cayenne and it works great.
Amazing in 2012 this just wasn't standard A2DP.
