Default Question on fitting 981 wheels on a 982

I good friend of mine (not a member) with a 781 Cayman has the chance to buy a set of new 18" wheels off a 981 ('16).

The fronts are the same, but the rears are offset 2 less MM. (47 vs. 49)

Any known issues?

Thanks

On my 981 I’m running the 987.2 18” wheels that also has a different rear offset 43 vs 47 oem size with no issues.

2 mm shouldn’t be a problem and if you check tire rack for wheels they show 43mm wheels as being compatible on the 718 rear. Also never hurts to call up the parts guys if you have a good relation at the dealer. They confirmed for me that 4mm difference on the rear wouldn’t be a problem for my car.
