We'd be happy to ship a system out to you - in stock and ready to go. It's hard to completely eliminate drone but we designed our mufflers specifically to fight undesirable frequencies while letting the flat-six engine note through. The internals have a high amount of high quality sound deadening material to cut down on excessive volume until you lay into the gas pedal, when the increase in exhaust flow encourages a more direct path out of the muffler for a nice wail.

Quick vid - sadly we missed recording when he came back around yelling about how much he loved the exhaust. You can hear the mufflers in action, when you aren't accelerating heavily they are in full effect limiting excessive volume and drone, but when you do get on it - enjoy that roar.

I just ordered the exhaust for my 987.1 2.7L. I didn't get the headers, and I am wondering if it will still sound great and better than stock with out them? Any videos of just the exhaust on a 2.7L would be much appreciated! And if you still need one to go to a dyno, perhaps I could be your guy! Thank you so much for your order - give us a call if you have any questions during the installation beyond the included installation guide! You'll most certainly notice a difference with the rear exhaust alone. You should expect around 5whp at most from the rear exhaust - it's primarily an upgrade for sound while dropping 15lbs off the rear!
