Hi guys,

Still here; nothing much to report other than love driving this thing. Here are some random pictures across the past couple of months...

I have an addiction....

That's a hell of a lot of sparkling water, is that only for your consumption?

Nice ride.

Coincidentally, the first Cayman I tried buying was GR. Love that color and would like to pick up something in it in the future.

Mostly for myself and the occasional guest/coworker.

Your car is basically exactly the spec I was looking for - Speed Yellow with sport seats, xenons and Bose sound. I ended up finding a low mileage example in Black that I couldn’t pass up, but part of me always wishes I found a color. Absolutely stunning - enjoy it!

It took me a longgg time to find a SY 6MT CS car, I think during the years looking for this I only came across one other SY car and the seller never returned any of my phone calls.

Im with you in that I prefer a 987 over the others, and am hoping to grab one in the near future. I dont really know what difference there is between a .1 & .2 to say theres a factual difference other than slight cosmetic differences

Car looks great, I love the accents of yellow splashed inside the car, is all of that factory or was some of it added after the fact?

Hello,

There is quite a difference between the .1 and .2 cars, the biggest being the switch to a DFI engine in MY2009 as well as cosmetic differences.

The yellow accents were all OEM options

There is a reasonably big difference between the two, particularly if you are going to track it. Worth doing the research - countless posts on it from oil starvation to IMS. I have owned both, and both are tremendous bargains - the bang for buck driving of a 987 anything Cayman or Boxster IMHO can't be beat. I'd buy either one, but I'd go into it aware, the differences are not just cosmetic.

Hello everyone,

Still have the car... I don't get to drive it too often as I'm living in NYC and the car resides in FL. I'm trying to figure out a good storage location in the area so I can have some fun with it this summer.
