SOUL PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS | Development Program - Long Tube Street Headers
We’re finishing up development of our Long Tube Street Headers for 987.2 and 981 and we’re looking for early adopter customers to work with us to get outside dyno results. Our goal at Soul Performance Products is to build relationships with customers and shops across the world to prove our components on various dyno setups under different conditions. We don’t want you to take our word for it alone, but allow us to validate ourselves through multiple outside channels as well.
Our 987.2 Cayman S will be hitting the dyno early next week, but we’re open to getting more results from base and S models. Our development 981 S is currently unavailable – (off doing development for a suspension company!) – so we’d like to get a set of headers out ASAP to someone who can get us data.
Our Street Headers are based around HJS HD 200 cell catalysts and our 2.0” primary runners merge at the cat through a tube cut and spiked collector to allow for the smoothest runner path.
Please contact me if you are able to connect with a local shop to get before and after dyno runs of our Street Headers and we’ll most certainly take care of you.
DURABILITY: You may be familiar with HJS already, but if you aren’t here’s why we use them. The HD designs use triple foil winding for maximum durability and strength (extremely high efficiency). They are also efficient enough to meet strict EURO 4 emission standards while still allowing for an increase in flow - all without a check engine light.
The brazing stripe is an extra feature in the interest of durability. It prevents the core from moving or experiencing any damage from high horsepower abuse.
The 200 cell catalysts are built to be so free flowing that you can see right through them at certain angles!
WARRANTY: We’re proud to offer an unprecedented 3 year warranty on our HJS catalysts ( that includes weekend track days as long as no race fuel or fuel additive is used) and a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the headers themselves.
