Yeah, I get the cool/unique factor of the Spyder and the limited numbers, but I just don't see it as that special a car to not depreciate. More power to owners if they can get a premium right now, it just won't be from me. There is always another car.

No, no, of course not. I'm certain your black, white or gray PDK 991 is a real thrill a minute.
No need to stalk, comrade. When one seemingly spends his entire life blathering on in nearly every post on every topic, he tends to make himself well known.

Says the guy who drove a silver Cab... Did it come with a matching purse?

Ha ha ha ha. ha ha. ha. yes, as a matter of fact it did, it came with a beautiful silver purse, the same one my daughter wears when she drives her automatic 911 to the mall.

Are the manual Spyder (I assume this goes for any Boxster) seats lower sitting (i.e offering more headroom for taller drivers) than the power ones? I was told previously on the Cayman GT4 forum they are, but not sure if it applies to the Boxster too (and doesn't hurt to double confirm if it is in fact true).

My understanding is that the 4way SS+ in the 911 sit about 1-1.5" lower than the 18ways, so my guess would be the same is true of the 2ways on the Spyder, but that's just a guess. I'm tall and like my seat in the lowest position, so it would be a plus for me.

I have the two ways and ..... the ergonomics in this car are so perfect I think you will be fine going that route.
