TPC Racing new and improved 506hp 987.2 turbo system reinvents the definition of mid engine performance

Ever since Cobb Tuning unveiled its Porsche product line, we have seen the tuning potential the Accessport provides time and time again. After seeing what it can do on NA cars, we decided to revisit our 987.2 Turbo Kit, using the Cobb Accessport to deliver the tune, and the results have been incredible!

Why Cobb?
One of the reasons we like using the Cobb Accessport is for its ease of use and delivering the tune, even allowing the customer to easily swap between tunes. The incredible data acquisition is the key to tunng The ability to save multiple tunes and easily access them in the palm of your hand is great for our customers. However, even more important is ability to access more tuning parameters to provide a better performing and more reliable tune!

2012 Boxster Spyder w/ TPC Racing 987.2 Turbo Kit
The 2012 Boxster Spyder development car features the newly designed TPC Racing 987.2 Turbo Kit with a ball bearing turbo, TPC Racing plumbing, and other accessories including the Cobb Tuning Accessport. The car is running on 93 octane pump fuel and features the optional M1 in the methanol tank. The tuning is built around the factory architecture so reliability and every day civility is key to this extremely efficient and reliable system.

Using the Cobb Accessport, we were able to up the power to 506HP – all while making improvements in reliability! TPC Racing not only dyno tunes for the most conservative useful power band but spends relentless hours at the race track gathering data to ensure reliability is the key component.

The mod is probably as reliable as advertised, it's not simultaneously beefing the lower end of the engine that is troubling.
