996 GT3 likely. I dont have the space for both, says my fiance .

However the urge to sell may pass cause the Spyder is just that good.

I was actually refraining myself from making that comment!! Since you said it, yeah, time for a new fiancee, rather!! Just kidding! "No car" is worth more than the person you love! So, make her happy!

Every situation is different, my brother gave up a 911T as part of a portfolio of funds to buy a new home for his bride and her two children who brought ZERO coin to the endeavor. A couple years later he realized her taste for acquisition had no limits, when he divorced he lost on the new house too so yeah in some cases it is good to reconsider the lady or Porsche equation.

If this is important to you, which it should be, have the conversation now. That's my advice.

Take her to an auto cross and a DE. Pretty soon she will need her own Porsche.

Agree; every situation is different. Sorry to hear about your brother's experience. Always hurts when you give up something important for a reason which ends up being a dud! Let's hope Jaybird33's situation is a positive one.

And, yes, it is pretty important to have a conversation and set the expectations. Everyone wants something; so, he could find what she wants in return! And, make it a fun conversation!
