Found this 1" rubber component on my passenger seat. Seems simple - but haven't been able to identify where it goes? Anyone know?

Is that the end cap trim on the end of the door? That's my best guess.

It's the end cap for the CF frame of our sun cover (top). Mine fell off a few months ago. Twice. Then I glued it in place. No problems since.

I've lost one of these, tried to track down the part number but doesn't seem to be identified separately from the CF frame? If anyone has any idea on part numbers for left and right would be appreciated.

Thanks very much for the link. I had been using the Auto Atlanta site for part numbers which I think references this document. I would expect to find the part numbers on 811-08, but they don't seem to be referenced which makes me think they cannot be purchased separately? I took a punt and ordered part 11 on 811-10, but no luck, these are for the regular Boxster roof. Note for anyone's future reference, these numbers below are NOT the correct numbers for the Spyder:

(if anyone needs these parts let me know, they're useless to me)

Time to give up and call my Porsche dealer...

Finally got an answer on these. The rubber end caps are not available separately from Porsche, so make sure they are glued in nice and snug!

Local dealer said they are only available with the entire rubber seal for the CF roof, this little strip of rubber is only $765AUD... think I can live without the end caps now.

Take a Spyder for a test drive and "borrow" them. Or, slightly less illegally, return them after 3D scanning them so you can re-pop them.

Does anyone know if these pieces are glued in place or if they are press fit?

I would be willing to pull mine out if someone has the capability to reproduce them but only if they are press fit and can be safely removed.
