Default 987 now track ready

Have enjoyed my car at the Apex driving events and wanted to do some mods. Now a Fiberglass rear deck with lexan window, front and rear carbon fiber spoilers. She's ready to go

Some additional (important) things to consider: stiffer, adjustable sway bars and "track" pads and brake fluid, at a minimum. If you are running sticky tires like R compounds you really need stiffer springs. And then of course an upgraded LSD would be nice.

With that package and a good corner balanced setup the car will be significantly nicer to drive on the track

Forgot to mention also run pagid yellows and race brake fluid. Was thinking of the sway bars but hesitant to go with stiffer springs especially since I tow a small trailer. Would that affect anything if I went that route?

Could you give specifics on parts used for rear decklid and front and rear spoilers?

Also, how you got the vent between the hood and bumper.

Looks great

Looks good, but be prepared for that front lip to be a disposable item if/when you go like a lawn mower.

+1 - I've been planning these exact mods. Although I was thinking TPC sways and the eibach lowering springs to hold me off until I spend $$$$ on coilovers.

Default Mods

GT racing supplied the rear deck and lexan window, front insert was available from Rennline, wing from John May in FL (jonjmay@yahoo.com) and front spoiler is a Joe Toth design from Tarett. Total cost about $4K plus paint and install labor

Thanks. How about the smiley vent at the front? Do you need a different bumper cover?
