Fashion gray is a unique and quite attractive color, but the original owner missed a great opportunity for an interesting, contrasting interior color, i.e. red or blue or ?? The black interior kills it.

IMHO,

Nice car. I had a 981S with X73 sport suspension, lsd etc.

Very fun car.

Nice... I am amazed / pleased at the price differential between the 981 and 718. This is an amazing car, in a MT, for just $59,950.

Other than the PTS, it's a pretty basic build. Pretty car though. But, it's a 2014 with ~9K miles - is $60K really a great bargain for this car?

Fashion grey (modegrau) has had me hooked since I first started lurking on these boards, and this is the first car I've seen in that color for under six figures. That said, skipping the red interior was indeed a missed opportunity. Does anyone have a sense for how frequently the used-car market sees fashion grey Carreras, Caymans, or Boxsters?

Yeah, the build is pretty basic. Don't understand spending 5 k on paint and skipping the other stuff.

This is the first boxster I've seen for sale in fashion grey for sale. I've not seen them pop up on other models much either.

If I hadn't gotten Mexico blau I think I would have gone for Fashion Grey. Nice and subtle (which Mexico isn't!)

I plan on seeing this car in person, after hearing that there's no other way to evaluate fashion grey. Is there a recommended thread for a 981 buyer's guide? Thanks again for the heads-up and the guidance!

It's an interesting color, but I'm not sure it works for the boxster. Just my opinion.
